Home Harvest: Growing Awareness Through Authentic Influencer Marketing.

8th September 2026

When an innovative new product enters the market, one of the biggest challenges isn’t building the technology, it’s helping consumers understand why they need it. That was exactly the challenge facing Home Harvest, a pioneering new home growing system designed to make it effortless for people to grow fresh microgreens, salads and herbs from their own kitchen.

Sway Influence was engaged to help introduce the concept to consumers and generate excitement around the brand’s launch.

Home Harvest has developed an all-in-one food ecosystem, allowing users to grow nutrient-rich produce at home through an app-controlled growing platform and pre-seeded grow mats. The brand was preparing to launch and needed a credible way to build awareness, generate conversations and connect with potential customers through trusted voices.

The challenge

Home growing products are not new, but Home Harvest represents a significant evolution in the category. Rather than targeting gardening enthusiasts, the product is designed for everyday consumers who want fresh, healthy food with minimal effort.

The campaign was tasked with educating consumers about a completely new approach to home-grown nutrition while simultaneously building anticipation around the launch and future Kickstarter campaign.

Traditional advertising alone would not deliver the authenticity needed. Instead, the campaign required influential creators who could demonstrate the product, explain its benefits and inspire genuine interest among their followers.

Our approach

Sway Influence developed a creator-first strategy centred on authenticity, relevance and engagement.

Our team conducted extensive influencer discovery, identifying creators whose audiences aligned with Home Harvest’s ideal customer profile.

Rather than focusing purely on follower numbers, we prioritised creators with highly engaged communities, strong audience trust and a natural interest in food, wellness, healthy living, sustainability and home innovation.

This approach is consistent with Sway’s focus on authentic, creator-led campaigns designed to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Alongside creator identification, we supported the Home Harvest launch event, managing influencer invitations and helping facilitate opportunities for content creation. By allowing creators to see the technology first-hand, experience the product and speak directly with the Home Harvest team, we created the foundations for engaging and credible storytelling.

The resulting content showcased the product in a way that felt natural and relatable. Rather than delivering corporate messages, creators demonstrated how Home Harvest could fit into real homes and real lifestyles, helping audiences understand the convenience, sustainability and wellness benefits of growing food indoors.

The outcome

The campaign successfully introduced Home Harvest to new audiences through trusted voices across social media. Creator-generated content helped bring the product to life, translating a complex proposition into engaging, easy-to-understand stories that resonated with consumers.

Through carefully selected influencers and authentic content, Home Harvest was able to generate awareness ahead of its wider launch activity while building valuable social proof around the brand. The campaign also provided a library of high-quality creator content that could be repurposed across marketing channels to support future growth.

Why it worked

Influencer marketing is most effective when audiences see genuine enthusiasm rather than scripted promotion. By pairing Home Harvest with creators whose interests naturally aligned with healthy living, nutrition and sustainability, the campaign delivered authenticity at every stage.

For Home Harvest, influencer marketing became more than a launch tactic. It helped transform an innovative piece of technology into something consumers could immediately understand, trust and get excited about.

For Sway Influence, it’s another example of how the right creators, the right strategy and the right story can help ambitious brands grow faster.
